Like many others, glamorous casinos ruled my fantasies for many years. More so, because I have seen people turning themselves from beggars to kings, all that in less than a year. It was just a few days back, when I actually got an opportunity to witness the fiesta myself by playing poker and realised the various sublimed secrets of this game.

Unlike most of the betting games, it is not only your luck, which will make you a winner while playing poker. Although it covers a good bite, the knowledge of some smart logical moves is necessary to become a good poker player. The strategy after having a good hand should be building the pot high enough by betting aggressively and raising the betting amount quickly but logically. Observing the betting habits of your opponent is also highly required so that you can predict his future moves and properly guess the status and position of your opponent. Another point worth mentioning would be stealing the pots while playing at a loose table. It can be quite tricky but after winning, you could expect bigger payoffs. On the other hand, at a tight table, you should bet aggressively to win some early small pots, but be careful enough to avoid bluffs and forceful payments. Again, a watchful eye on the betting nature of other players will help you know the pros and cons associated with the table you are playing.

Although it had not turned out to be a charismatic night for me, I ended up with some good cash with a less than nominal investment. Thus, definitely, I can be marked as a good player and I am really looking forward to try my hands again!
